These dishes are thick and heavy (though not too heavy to be a burden) and we are sure they will last a very, very long time. On top of that, they look fantastic. We considered getting a pattern or some bright colors (some of the styles that are currently very popular) but decided on this very classic Cappuccino color instead. The dishes have a very classic and antique look to them and work well for bot casual dining and dinner parties. This color will never go out of style and will complement a lot of different decors (especially more traditional, antique dining rooms).

Overall, you are not going to find a better deal on high quality, durable stoneware. Plus, you get service for 12 for less than the price of service for 4 or 8 from most places. We have stored an entire box away for now, so it is really a free bonus.
